I purchased this chair last August. It is beautiful and very comfortable. Unfortunately there is a problem with the quality of the plastic pieces that attach the headrest to the metal arms, as well as a design defect. The plast pieces have completely cracked and broken and, as a result, the head rest has become completely detached. And, since the screws are internal to the head rest, even if I get replacement parts, it does not appear that I will be able to reattach the head rest and tighten the screws. For nearly $1000, I do hope my furniture will last longer than 7 months. Even though it's not an original, it's still quite a chunk of change.I have contacted the company about the problem, as the chair is pretty useless without the head rest. I sent them photos and hope they are willing to help resolve this problem. I will update my review when I hear back from them. Fingers crossed for good customer service!!

I've wanted an Eames chair for years, but couldn't bring myself to spend four grand for one.When I stumbled across this reproduction, I was a little apprehensive, but figured I could always send it back if it was no good.Happily, the chair is extremely nice and I couldn't be more pleased. It's supremely comfortable, seems to be quite well made, and looks virtually identical to the real thing. In fact, when my design-loving buddy saw it, he couldn't believe it's a fake/reproduction.You'll love it.

The chair is a reflection of the original iconic design. Build quality is solid. Good materials. For the price, this is a great value and a fine addition to our home decor. As pictured except for the figuring to the wood that is not as prevalent in the example I received. Natural material and variations are to be expected. Seller was very courteous and answered all inquiries.
