By Robert G Dopp
I was looking for a quality pedal exerciser that was made in the USA, to replace the cheap foreign imported one that I got for Christmas (which had been used for over 2 months until it was breaking down). When I phoned a representative of the manufacturer of this item (Chattanooga/ Cando), he informed me that although they had no current pedal exercisers made in the United States, that this discontinued model was made in the USA. I bought it new from this seller, and it arrived in good condition, but the box and the machine both say "Made in Taiwan". Maybe some of the earlier units were made here, but then they switched it to overseas? Anyways, it works very nice: very smooth pedaling, quiet, and very stable, even on a carpeted surface. Just wanted to let you know that if you're like me and you try to buy domestically made products, before you buy this, you might want to ask if the unit's box is labeled "Made in the USA" or "Made in Taiwan". There were other Amazon sellers that were selling this same exerciser for a higher price when I bought this one, and now I'm thinking that maybe the country of manufacture is why.Bottom line: It is much nicer than the cheap ones that just have a resistance knob that merely forces a bolt into the center axle (eventually destroying it). This one has a resistance knob that increases or decreases the resistance by using a magnet which doesn't touch the axle but merely gets closer to it or farther from it, which adjusts the difficulty. Much simpler and easier, and (I hope) longer-lasting.

By Christina
I have tile floors. The Magneciser Pedal Exerciser slides all over the place, tips over and is basically unusable. I tried placing the Magneciser Pedal Exerciser against a wall which only helped a little bit. If you have tile or wood floors I do not recommend this product or anything like it. Another note, after making the purchase I discovered if I had made the purchased at Allegro Medical's web site I would have had free shipping.

By Evil Enchantment
This product performs as stated. I bought it to use for my arms to avoid frozen shoulder due to a torn rotator cuff. It's great. It was easy to put together & is easy to use. I have not experienced any problems.
