I should have thought this through a little more, but I bought this to cover a dark comforter that we've had for ages. I hunted high and low for a duvet that closes with a zipper, and settled on this one. It is great in most respects -- feels nice enough, great design, no feet getting caught in the holes left by buttons/ties. My biggest complaint is that I can still see the dark comforter through the white. But, well, it seems like zipper closed duvets are kind of uncommon, so I kept it anyway. I turn my dark comforter so the solid color is on top instead of the patterned side of my comforter, so it's less apparent. It's held up so far (6 months old) in the wash.

It's beautiful. Exactly what I had anticipated from the description and the picture. I think the price is a bit high, but for the amount you get it's pretty reasonable. I love the zipper aspect of the duvet. I can't wait to purchase a comforter for inside of it!
