Heavy leather, more like a jacket than shirt. I would say "soft" is not very accurate; this is some pretty thick stiff leather. That said, it is well-made and seems to be true-to-size.

fit perfect look`s good lining good need I say more? better motorcycle riding jacket at half the price. I would reccomend this to any one wanting a light weight jacket, besides it looks better.
