The price is totally worth this product. It is very sturdy and well made and looks really nice. The only negative I see is the latch on the door would only take a good nudge with a nose to lift it up and open it. One of our Beagles is very smart so we knew he'd have that figured out before too long. Since we only needed 4 panels to span our doorway and we didn't really need a door as we only use it when we're gone, we took that panel out. We also bought some sliding glass door latches to attach both ends to the wall for extra support. These have a sort of a U-pin-shaped metal piece that slides up and down into brackets that allows the gate to be removed easily when not in use, yet holds it in place if they jump on it. So far it's kept our two 25-pound Beagles locked in the kitchen.
