I bought this for my grandson and he absolutely loved it.I have purchased numerous other TRIO products and have never been disappointed in the quality of construction.

My son loves cranes and he loves trios so this was an obvious purchase for us. The crane swivels on it's legs/base and the string winds up (and down). The claw part of the crane is not adjustable, and is just a solid piece of slightly flexible plastic but it works well enough with the trio pieces. Just don't expect it to be able to 'pick up' other items.It is a fun, durable set that any child should enjoy, especially ig they are into cranes and/or construction sets. The pieces can be put in the dishwasher if needed (in a mesh bag or similar container), except for any pieces with stickers on them. I have yet to see a child who didn't enjoy playing with Trios.
