First of all---The seller shipped the item very quickly and it arrived in the origional box and packing material, so the seller gets 5 STARS for their part of my purchase. I probably based most of the influence on purchasing this item just on the one previous 5 STAR custromer review and should have probably have done a little more research BEFORE buying this item from the maker.Why I only gave it 3 STARS...Pay attention to the description of the materials (cold cast bronze). If you research this on the internet you will find it to be a composite of a resin mixture base, fine grained mineral powder, and paint. MADE IN CHINA on the bottom---Like everything else in this world, you are paying a lot for this item to be shipped to the US from China, plus their profit, plus the markup profit from the retailer here in the US before selling it---keep that in mind as you purchase.The other customer review here states, "The statue is literally made entirely out of bronze. At first glance of the statue, I thought the river down below was made of resin, with a slight blue-ish gray tint to it. Nope, that is bronze too!" WELL NOT EXACTLY AS STATED!!!!!!! This is a very nice statue to have almost anywhere in your house, however because of the length 14 inches it's hard to place it in some areas of ones home. The statue is literally made entirely out of bronze. At first glance of the statue, I thought the river down below was made of resin, with a slight blue-ish gray tint to it. Nope, that is bronze too!
